Project Check Up

One-half day or one full day visit by
Chuck Locascio, a highly experienced, certified project manager (PMP) to evaluate the "health" of your project and make recommendations for improving your project's probability of completion within acceptable budget and schedule constraints. Half-day check ups are available for projects in the initiation or planning stages, with budgets under $100,000. Full (one) day check ups are available for projects with budgets up to $250,000. Duration and cost of Project Check Ups for projects budgeted over $250,000 are to be negotiated between PMARS and the client company. For all Project Check Ups, PMARS will provide the client company with instructions for advance preparation for the Project Check Up.

The Project Check Up includes evaluation and recommendations regarding:

Definition of business requirements and project scope.
Adequacy and appropriateness of the project goals and objectives.
Degree to which project sponsorship and other key stakeholders are identified, .....appropriate, and involved in the project.
Definition of solution concept and detailed solution design.
Definition and management of project team
Completeness of Work Breakdown Structure
Adequacy and Effectiveness of Project Communications
Adequacy and effectiveness of scope and change management
Adequacy of risk management activities and plans
Adequacy of approach to development of schedule and budget
Approach to acceptance and administrative closure of the project
Action items for getting challenged projects back on track

Brown Bag Lunch Seminars

One-hour seminars on project management topics requested by the client company. Client company provides location and lunch. PMARS can suggest topics, such as:
